The Ice Hotel is now on my list of places to go.  I don't even like cold weather, but the Ice Hotel is too, too cool.

Yeah, ever since I seen the last James Bond movie I've thought it would be a fun and unique experience to stay in one.  I don't know how I feel about be cold all the time though  Might not make for a very romantic experience.

I wonder if the bed is made out of ice???  I don't think that would be a good idea though.  It looks so amazing there.  And hey, they even have a wedding chapel.

I saw a special on Food Network about this hotel.  They made it sound like the bed was also made out of ice.  I would love to sip a cocktail in a glass made out of ice (it's so ingenious!).

Did they say what they place on the bed to prevent frost bite from the patrons?

I saw the special on how this was built....

on the bed there are animal skins and blankets and sleeping bags to keep you warm - I think it is placed on a wood platform if I remember correctly.

Oh wow I didn't know there was a hotel made of ice.  I was watching the Amazing Race and they went to an ice bar in Sweeden.  They had to put parkas on before they went in but it was beautiful looking.
