We're planning on going to Paris in October. How can we do this on a budget? I don't want to spend a lof of $$$ on hotels, I'd rather shop. Are youth hostiles a good option? Are they safe? I've never vacationed in Europe...so I'm clueless.
anna my father in law is french - from paris and they go back a few times a year. If you want I can put you in touch with my MIL - she is sooo sweet and can probably help you quite a bit.
