I donate mine to the Am Vets. That's for stuff doesn't fit anymore though. Anything else, I wear to the death. Even if it's just for around the house or camping or whatever. I feel guilty throwing or donating something if I can still wear it.
I get rid of stuff I haven't worn in a couple years or stuff that doesn't fit. My husband works with a guy who has a lot of family in Mexico and they really appreciate any hand me downs so we give everything to him. We figure then they can either use them or sell them or whatever they want to do with them. It's not tax deductible, but it feels a little better to me being it's closer to home.

I'm the same way. I never get around to ebaying stuff. I donate to salvation army or a women's shelter in town. I make sure its going to the people first before I donate though because one place if its not name brand designers in perfect condition they cut the clothes up and use them for cleaning rags
