My New Purse

I'm so proud of it! My husband said it looks like an old lady purse, but I like it. What do boys know anyway...

Awesome!  I don't think it looks like an old lady purse, boys are dorks!  Is it sturdy?  Can it hold a lot of stuff?

I used it today... I think it needs a lining inside cause my keys were sticking through the knit. Either that or I need to knit it using smaller needles. And the handles a bit too wide so I fear that will sag with time, but it's definitely a start! I'm going to try another one with tighter knit and a smaller handle opening. Wish me luck! :) Thanks guys!!

I think you need to sew in a liner.  Otherwise, you'll be dropping things from the bottom, no matter how small knit you use.

I don't get the problem with the handles.  They look fine to me.  YOu can try to see if you can get wood or plastic handles too.  That will probably look cool.

Yeah, I've seen purses with the round bamboo handles - I may try that next time.
