I used it today... I think it needs a lining inside cause my keys were sticking through the knit. Either that or I need to knit it using smaller needles. And the handles a bit too wide so I fear that will sag with time, but it's definitely a start! I'm going to try another one with tighter knit and a smaller handle opening. I think you need to sew in a liner. Otherwise, you'll be dropping things from the bottom, no matter how small knit you use.
I don't get the problem with the handles. They look fine to me. YOu can try to see if you can get wood or plastic handles too. That will probably look cool.
