So, we just bought a elliptical trainer and a Bowflex for home. My husband's been wanting a Bowflex for about 5 years now and I finally gave in. We figured if we were going to get it, we might as well get the cardio machine too so we can cancel our gym membership. My only concern now is motivating myself to work out at home. I'm pretty good about going to the gym so I don't think it will be too bad, but I've heard so many horror stories about people buying machines and all they do it collect dust. Any tips?
Hey! i workout at home too! i have a treadmill! i just make myself get up before work and run a bit! i always watch music videos while i'm running bc it keeps me going! also, we just got "on demand" and if you have that they have some great quick workouts you can watch at anytime! great abs shows and yoga! you should check that out if you have it on your tv!
I think the tv idea is great. I know when we put our exercise bike in our den where the tv is we will get on it and ride it all through a movie or a show and not even realize we've been on it that long.
