Frozen Foundation!

When I went to put my makeup on this morning - I realized I accidentally left it in my car - overnight...well since it is about 12 degrees here - let me tell you - my foundation was FROZEN!

The irony is - it actually was so much easier and nicer to put on that way. I felt like "whipped" foundation - the body heat from my fingers melted it enough to put it on - it went on perfectly - smooth and even - I was really surprised...I think I may keep it in the freezer from now on!!

Interesting tip!  I use a lemon juice toner (I squeeze the lemon myself and mix with some spring water) which I keep on the fridge.  It feels really nice on my face in the morning, really wakes me up.

Is your foundation in a glass bottle or a squeeze bottle?  I'm not sure if this will work for me since I use a glass bottle foundation.

Its glass - but it was upside down - so the foundation was right at the top of the bottle.

I am definetly going to try this then.  I'm intrigued by the "whipped" effect of the foundation.

hmm that's a neat idea.  I might have to give it a try.

I tried this with my MAC Hyper Real.  It really does go on smoother and it melts into your face so it felt like it was blending better.  I now hold it upside down in my freezer.  It doesn't freeze all the way, it doesn't quite become solid.  It's like ice cream frozen, as soon as it touches anything it becomes a cool liquid.
