Hi fashionistas! I want to show you my site and ask for some feedback from a fashion point of view. I started marketing my product primarily to the surf scene, but it is now growing beyond that with the help of Lucky and other press. I am looking for any advice or feedback from hip people who are buying a lot of fashion in the Internet. What do you think of the site? Is it welcoming and transparent for a non-surfer?

Thank you in advance! I really appreciate your feedback!
I really like your belts. I have no clue as to why I haven't bought one yet. Oh wait, I actually do...I only own 1 belt and I'm terribly lazy at expanding my belt inventory. Although, I really need to! I am in love with Stella!!!!
Belts are really popular right now, so I don't think that you should have a problem with increasing your client base. The site is nice, although I would suggest that you add larger pictures of the products and lengths. Posting sizes isn't really an accurate gauge of the true lenght. Afteral, one person's size ten is another person's size 8, or vice versa.
Very cute! There is a lot of text on the home page, which I am not a fan of. It's a little intimidating to think "I have to read all that?" Other than that your site is very concise and I love the sunset thang you've got going on. Perfect if your target market is beachy girls (or just girls who dream of the beach, like moi!).
I do agree with Anna though that lengths would be helpful in buying, especially since your sizes state "worn at the hips." I would be nervous to buy anything online for fear that it wouldn't fit. Good luck!!
Thanks for the input. And the compliments! I have actually struggled with that issue about putting on lengths or no lengths. My experience has indicated that the more in detail I go about specs, the harder it is to sell the items. Most customers aren't as savvy as you guys about fit, for example measuring and knowing where to measure and that the belt does not need to meet end to end (if it does, it will be too big to wear any higher). It's a psychological thing. Given more room for doubt, customers don't make a decision and don't necessarily buy.
So I am wary to do that.
Undecided...
Hmm...
Yeah, hard call with the text. I got it down to one page, and the type is large, so it reads quickly. Maybe I need to rethink that one too. (sigh...)
Back to work, making catalogs tonight...
Aloha,
Donna

Donna-I had to add that I love the "how to wear" feature. It is really helpful because for a moment I thought about how I would actually wear them. Also, kudos on including the part about being careful with wearing them through beltloops. I imagine there would be people out there who would do just that, break their belt and then blame you for it.
